White House: al Qaeda is Racist

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

When Rush opened with this article on Wednesday, it seemed like he was making a joke. It couldnt be true, so a quick Google search was made and viola!!   President Obama, who has banned the word “Islamic” as an adjective to describe the terrorists out to destroy America and the West and Israel, now tells us al Qaeda is a RACIST organization.  He has never expressed a lot of emotion over their use of explosives and dull knives to further their islamo-fascist ideology until now.  NOW, the organization is preying on poor African Blacks as recruits.  And they are not becoming officers and training experts in the hierarchy; no they are always merely used as suicide bombers.

Read the story from Jake Tapper, ABC News Sr White House Correspondent, from July 14th.

“In an interview with the South African Broadcasting Corporation  President Obama disparaged al Qaeda and affiliated groups’ willingness to kill Africans in a manner that White House aides say was an argument that the terrorist groups are racist.

Speaking about the Uganda bombings, the president said, “What you’ve seen in some of the statements that have been made by these terrorist organizations is that they do not regard African life as valuable in and of itself.  They see it as a potential place where you can carry out ideological battles that kill innocents without regard to long-term consequences for their short-term tactical gains.”

Explaining the president’s comment, an administration official said Mr. Obama “references the fact that both U.S. intelligence and past al Qaeda actions make clear that al Qaeda — and the groups like al Shabaab that they inspire — do not value African life. The actions of al Qaeda and the groups that it has inspired show a willingness to sacrifice innocent African life to reach their targets.”.

“Additionally, U.S. intelligence has indicated that al Qaeda leadership specifically targets and recruits black Africans to become suicide bombers because they believe that poor economic and social conditions make them more susceptible to recruitment than Arabs,” the official said. “Al Qaeda recruits have said that al Qaeda is racist against black members from West Africa because they are only used in lower level operations.”

“In short,” the official said, “al Qaeda is a racist organization that treats black Africans like cannon fodder and does not value human life.”

Is our President playing w/ a full deck?  Or, is he just so willing to be a promoter of Islam that he purposefully overlooks the ruthless, radical ideology of groups like al Qaeda.  Of course, they do not value human life-  not just those of African Blacks, but Americans, Jews, Western Europeans, and most  secular or tolerant Muslims.  They blow up mosques and kill Arab pilgrims engaged in worship.  No one’s life is valuable if it stands in the way of destroying Western civilization, Israel as a State, and the formation of a new Muslim Empire such as those of the Middle Ages.  Wake up Mr Obama….  or maybe the american people just need to pull their collective head out of the sand in regards to the president’s sympathies.

Taxpayers Paying For Abortions w/ Fedl $

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 13, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In the first known instance of direct federal funding of abortion under the new health care legislation, Pennsylvania [received from the federal governmt] $160 million to set up a new “high-risk” insurance program – and [the Obama Administration] quietly approved a plan submitted by an appointee of Governor Edward Rendell (D) under which the new program will cover any abortion that is legal in Pennsylvania.

The high-risk pool program, which will be funded entirely by the federal government, is one of the new programs created by the sweeping health care legislation President Obama signed into law on March 23. The law authorizes $5 billion in federal funds for the program, which will cover as many as 400,000 people when it is implemented nationwide.

Although an earlier version of the health care legislation prevented federal funds from subsidizing abortion, that protection was not included in the bill signed into law. Although the president’s Executive Order regarding funding for abortion was touted as the solution, the White House later admitted the Order simply “reiterated” what was already in the bill.

“This is just the first proof of the phoniness of President Obama’s assurances that federal funds would not subsidize abortion – but it will not be the last,” said Douglas Johnson, legislative director for the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC).

Details of the high-risk pool plans for most states are not yet available. But on June 28, Pennsylvania Insurance Commissioner Joel Ario issued a press release announcing that the federal Department of Health and Human Services had approved his agency’s proposal for implementing the new program in Pennsylvania. According to the release, “The plan’s benefit package will include preventive care, physician services, diagnostic testing, hospitalization, mental health services, prescription medications and much more, with subsidized premiums of $283 a month.”

Examination of the detailed Pennsylvania plan (posted here), reveals that the “much more” will include insurance coverage of any legal abortion.

The section on abortion (see page 14) asserts that “elective abortions are not covered.” However, that statement proves to be a red herring, because the operative language does not define “elective.” Rather, the proposal specifies that the coverage “includes only abortions and contraceptives that satisfy the requirements of” several specific statutes, the most pertinent of which is 18 Pa. C.S. § 3204, which says that an abortion is legal in Pennsylvania (consistent with Roe v. Wade) if a single physician believes that it is “necessary” based on “all factors (physical, emotional, psychological, familial and the woman’s age) relevant to the well-being of the woman.”

Indeed, the cited statute provides only a single circumstance in which an abortion prior to 24 weeks is not permitted under the Pennsylvania statute: “No abortion which is sought solely because of the sex of the unborn child shall be deemed a necessary abortion.”

As a result, “Under the Rendell-Sebelius plan, federal funds will subsidize coverage of abortion performed for any reason, except sex selection,” said NRLC’s Johnson. “The Pennsylvania proposal conspicuously lacks language that would prevent funding of abortions performed as a method of birth control or for any other reason, except sex selection – and the Obama Administration has now approved this.”

Responding to NRLC’s discovery, Tom McClusky, Family Research Council Action’s Senior Vice President, said: “Never have we so regretted being right on an issue, but this $160 million for an abortion insurance program in Pennsylvania validates the arguments FRC Action made throughout the health care debate: Taxpayer dollars will fund abortions. For our efforts to remove the bill’s abortion funding, we were called ‘deceivers’ by President Obama and ‘liars’ by his allies.”

“Now we know who the true deceivers and liars really are.”

One Nation Under God

Saturday, July 3rd, 2010

Independence Day, July 4, is important to Christians because America is the best hope of Liberty on the face of the earth.   Our republic was founded primarily by men who possessed faith in the Bible as God’s Word.  Many of our Founders saw America as a new Israel being carved out of the wilderness.  If the people trusted the Lord He could bless them; if they turned from Him He could forsake their labors.

The US Senate Judiciary Committee, in 1853, said in a report: “We are a Christian people…, from choice and education; and in a land thus universally Christian, what is to be expected, what desired, but that we shall pay a due regard to Christianity?”  The SC Supreme Court ruled in 1849: “Christianity is part of the common law… the basis for morality, the foundation of principles of right and wrong.”

Patrick Henry, who said, “Give me liberty or give me death” also stated, “It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.”

Not all the people who founded and shaped early America were Christians or even Bible believers, but the vast majority were.  Their biblical views shaped the state constitutions, the Declaration of Independence (”inalienable rights”, the “laws of nature and nature’s God”), and the US Constitution w/ a Bill of Rights.  This is indisputable.

The United States had treaties w/ Indians and they at times spoke of their Great Spirit watching over their tribes.  The US signed a treaty under duress of extortion w/ the Barbary pirates where lip service was made to their religion as Musselmen or Mohommadans.  But nowhere can you find the American Gov’t putting other religions on equal footing w/ the God of the Bible.  America has made its share of mistakes along the way but its adherence to the Bible, its foundation as a Republic, and its free market economic system succeeded in making it the greatest Nation ever to exist in human History.  These characteristics have enabled it to grant rights and freedoms for others from foreign shores as Patrick Henry stated.  Never has an Arabic or Far Eastern nation opened its doors to opportunities like those available here.  Our Faith and Culture alone has made those opportunities available.  That does not give them the right to subvert and undermine our cultural and spiritual foundations.  We as Americans, particularly as Christian Americans, must guard our rights and our power to vote in the face of those who would rob future generations of the liberties and faith of our founding fathers we grew up with.
